The 2022 Kansas State Shoot was held in Sedgwick, Kansas, welcoming trapshooters from across the Great Plains for several days of championship competition. The event offered a full slate of ATA-registered targets including singles, handicap, and doubles events.
Kansas shooters turned out in strong numbers, with competitive fields in every classification from AA through E. The handicap event proved especially exciting, with multiple shooters posting scores in the high 90s from the back yardage lines. The Sedgwick venue provided excellent conditions and a welcoming atmosphere for the state's trapshooting community.
