Recap: Meet the Eight U.S. Olympic Shotgun Athletes – Paris 2024

After two grueling parts of the U.S. Olympic Trials in Tucson, Arizona, eight shotgun athletes officially punched their tickets to Paris 2024. The roster combines Olympic veterans, World Champions, and exciting first-time Olympians, making this one of the strongest U.S. shotgun teams ever assembled.

  • Rachel Tozier (Pattonsburg, MO) – Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit. 2023 Pan American Games bronze medalist. First Olympic team.

  • Ryann Phillips (Gail, TX) – 2024 CAT Games bronze medalist and 2023 Junior World Champion. Collegiate shooter at Texas A&M–Corpus Christi. First Olympic team.

Could become only the sixth athlete in history to win the same Olympic event four times, and the first shooter to ever do so.

  • Conner Prince (Burleson, TX) – 2023 World Cup gold medalist in Mixed Team Skeet. First Olympic team.

Of Note

  • Paris 2024 will again feature a Mixed Team Skeet event, building on the popularity of shotgun mixed team competition introduced at Tokyo 2020.
